For the past two decades Business Events Perth has been recognising Western Australia’s brightest minds through their Aspire Awards program.
The program, which is now in its 23rd year, is officially open for applications for 2022, from Monday the 18th of July and with eleven awards up for grabs, now is the perfect time to showcase your individual contribution to our dynamic State.
The successful Aspire Awards applicants who are outstanding candidates in their fields will receive travel grants to support their attendance at international conferences, allowing the recipients to showcase their expertise on a global stage, network with like-minded professionals, and explore new avenues for collaboration, research, innovation and trade.
Recipients of the 2021 Aspire Awards represented the diversity of Western Australia’s research and entrepreneurial strengths and exemplify the innovation that Western Australia is renowned for.
Previous winners include Professor Jonas Nilsson, who is at the cutting edge of treatments for advanced melanoma, and Dr Garnett Hall, who is revolutionising veterinary care through the VetChip biosensor which is set to be used in such commercial applications as the world’s first implantable health monitor for dogs.
Research and development emerging from Western Australia demonstrates that our great State is truly at the forefront of innovation.
