Terms and conditions

Funding is limited and approval is subject to an eligibility assessment by Business Events Perth.

ELIGIBILITY

The event is an association, corporate conference or business incentive event, exhibition or tradeshow
The business event has been actively promoted online and is taking place before 31 December 2023
The event is a national or international event not already confirmed for Western Australia
The event is a minimum three-day duration
The event has a minimum of 200 in-person delegates and has a successful track record of meeting in person for five years
The event must consider Western Australia for a future business event which isn’t already confirmed for Western Australia
The event organisers must complete a Business Event Perth business event application for both business events
If the business event is successful in securing keynote speaker funding, future national or international business event considering Western Australia must confirm within 6 months of the 2023 event. This future event must be held before 31 December 2026
Event organisers must provide Business Events Perth with a Request for Proposal (RFP) and confirm with a BE Perth member venue by 31 December 2023

CLAIMING FUNDS

Financial support may be used towards guest speakers featured at the 2023 business event, and other eligible event expenses as approved by Business Events Perth
Payment of financial support to be reimbursed with applicable paid receipts. Up to fifty per cent of the funds payable before the event commences, applicable on signing keynote speaker(s) and the remaining reimbursed after the 2023 business event
Costs covered include economy air fares, accommodation and on ground costs
Business Events Perth will assess all funding applications and endorsement for funding by Business Events Perth is not guaranteed where relevant criteria are not met
Business Events Perth reserves the right to seek reimbursement of distributed funds if Terms and Conditions are not met over the duration of the agreement
The recipient of sponsorship from Business Events Perth agrees to acknowledge Business Events Perth as a key event partner at the 2023 business event including displaying Business Events Perth approved logo when keynote speaker(s) is promoted and in relevant marketing and promotional activities and collateral including programs, hybrid portals; social media and website
Terms and Conditions may be revised from time to time by updating this posting. The revised terms will take effect when they are posted
