Sarah joined the Business Events Perth team in 2021, with a strong background in business development and venue sales, she brings 20 years of experience in securing and hosting business events to her role as Associate Director Business Development - Associations at Business Events Perth. Sarah loves the sunny West Coast and enjoys sampling the local food and wine Western Australia has to offer.

Originally hailing from Singapore, Alex Ng joined Business Events Perth in 2019 as a Senior Business Development Manager and a member of the Corporate & Incentive team with a particular focus on South East Asia. Alex’s background includes over a decade of experience with Singapore Airlines, the last being as Manager Western Australia, and a stint thereafter as an Inbound Tour Operator in Perth. He is passionate about promoting Western Australia as a premium destination for corporate meeting and incentive business and looks forward to welcoming visitors from all over Asia to enjoy WA’s gourmet food and wine, friendly people, wildlife, beautiful beaches and stunning sunsets while hosting their business events.

Linda is a Senior Business Development Manager and a member of the business development team. She is responsible for developing bid strategies to secure national and international association conferences in Western Australia. Linda has extensive experience in the tourism sector, having worked in senior business development and sales roles in commercial aviation for more than 20 years. She is passionate about promoting and supporting WA as a conference destination and ensuring visitors have the opportunity to explore all that WA has to offer. Having moved back to Australia from the UK in 2011, Linda spends most weekends at Perth’s beaches enjoying long walks and the sunshine.

Rachel joins the Business Events Perth team as a Senior Business Development Manager, with 15 years of industry experience across hotels in the UK and Perth including Hilton Hotels and Crown Perth. Winner of the Best Conference & Events Management Employee award at the 2016 Australian Hotels Association Accommodation Awards for Excellence, Rachel has a strong background and a wealth of knowledge in business development with experience in conferences, events, groups and corporate sales, and a passion for national and international conferences. Originally from the UK Rachel moved to WA in 2011, trading the cobbles of London for Perth’s sandy beaches! Her love for travel continues as she enjoys exploring new cities and cultures.

Elena is responsible for managing a portfolio of international and national associations with the objective of attracting leading business events to Western Australia. In 2020, Elena moved to Perth from Dubai, where she worked in the events industry with key stakeholders such as Atlantis The Palm hotel and Dubai Business Events. Prior to working in Dubai, Elena gained experience in hotels in Greece and Eastern Europe, including her home country, Moldova. Elena enjoys spending weekends on the beach with her family and exploring wineries in the Swan Valley.

Leo started her career in television production in Sydney before returning home to Perth. She took on roles in the event and conference space working with a variety of industries from education to health and medical research. During recent years, while spending time in the US with her family, she found herself ‘flying the flag’ for all things West Australian. She returned to an alumni role telling stories of great local achievements, showcasing the talent here in Perth and those who are making an impact on a global platform. Leo’s interest is to explore more of the wonders of our beautiful State.

West Australian born, Emily joins the Business Events Perth team as a Senior Business Development Manager based in-market in Sydney. Emily has a strong background in business and relationship development with 18 years of industry experience across hotels, convention centres, arenas and government agencies including Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre and RAC Arena. Emily is a passionate representative for WA, securing both national and international business events for the state. Emily enjoys coming back to WA regularly to spend time with family and friends, enjoying Perth’s emerging food and culture scene along with taking time to enjoy Perth’s beautiful beaches.

Georgia joins the Business Events Perth team with more than seven years’ experience working in the sport and recreation, events and tourism industries across the not-for-profit sector in Perth. Having worked with a local experience provider for numerous years, Georgia brings a dynamic skillset to the team along with qualifications in events, marketing and communications, with plans for further studies. As Business Development Manager, Georgia works with the international and national associations market and national corporate market while also maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and coordinating site inspections and famils. Away from work, Georgia enjoys spending quality time with friends and family and exploring other creative pursuits.

Specialising in National Associations and the South-West region of WA, Zoe joins the BE Perth team as a dedicated Business Development Manager. She earned her Bachelor of Business, majoring in Event Management and Public Relations, from Edith Cowan University in 2019. Zoe combined her academic knowledge and extensive hospitality experience to cultivate a successful career in the Events Industry. Before joining the BE Perth team, she spent 5 years as an Event Sales Coordinator in the sporting and recreation, not-for-profit sector. WA born and raised, Zoe’s enthusiasm for her home state shines through her commitment to discovering and promoting its unique offerings. Away from work, you will find her exploring the WA coastline and learning about the latest wineries in the South West!

Andy joined Business Events Perth team with more than a decade of experience promoting Western Australia in Greater China region. Andy started his career with Qantas. In the past 11 years, he was dedicated to one thing - promoting Western Australia in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan as Tourism Western Australia’s country manager. Andy brings global vision, in-market knowledge, and destination marketing experiences to Business Development team. Away from work, Andy enjoys spending time with family and playing tennis with friends.

While working as a Public Relations consultant in Seoul, Ellie oversaw business with partners in Japan, the United States and Korea. Ellie has joined the Corporate & Incentive team at BE Perth, focusing on growing business in the Korean, Japanese, and Indonesian markets. Since moving to Perth, Ellie has fallen in love with the city and is passionate about introducing everything she loves about Western Australia to more customers in Asia, including the breathtaking nature, friendly people, beautiful weather, and amazing wine.

Indian Born, Aneessh is an experienced Business Development Manager with a skilled background in events management and the medical administration sector. He joined BE Perth's Corporate & Incentive team to help grow business in Asian markets. With degrees in International Business Administration and 5 years of experience, he's passionate about Western Australia's potential to host successful business events and drive success. Aneessh values spending meaningful time with his wife and family and has a passion for exploring the world, travelling to new cities, and immersing himself in diverse cultures.
