It is great to see business events in Western Australia are back in action, as we are in the fortunate position of being able to safely meet again.

Business Events Perth continues to work on long term bids and to bring national and international business events to Western Australia. Recently we have seen an uptick in inquiries for international and interstate business events, which is positive news. 

As we are seeing increased activity with our clients, and as we work to develop new markets, like the rest of the world, Business Events Perth has pivoted as a result of COVID-19, and we are now offering sponsorship of up to $30,000 for new state-based business event bookings, to kick start the local business events industry and get business events happening again in Western Australia.

The initiative was launched in August and has been hugely popular, so far supporting nearly 50 local events, bringing together more than 15,000 people to meet, collaborate and learn from each other at a Western Australian business event. 

To support this funding earlier this month we launched a new a digital marketing campaign, titled Event Here Now, to drive near term bookings of business events with Western Australian venues and suppliers, to help the local industry through the ongoing recovery from the impacts of COVID-19.
