Last week, team members from Business Events Perth headed out into Australia’s South West to discover the incredible experiences and venues on offer to event organisers considering the region for their next business event.

First stopping in Busselton to discover the capabilities of Busselton Jetty as a unique event venue, the team were briefed by the City of Busselton on upcoming developments in the region, such as the Busselton Performing Arts and Convention Centre and the Melbourne to Busselton direct flight, before meeting with other venues and suppliers in the area.

With a focus on product offerings for national and international corporate and incentive groups, the team met with operators that can host groups for activities quintessential to the region, such as wine blending and tasting, chocolate roasting, lip balm making, nature immersion and conservation, and local Indigenous experiences.

While in the region, the team also toured the new Margaret River HEART; Margaret River’s first purpose-built business event and performing arts facility, with capacity to host events of up to 450 delegates.
