Pullman Bunker Bay Resort, in WA’s Margaret River Region, is celebrating two finalist nominations at the 47th annual Perth Airport Western Australian Tourism Awards, held at Optus Stadium’s City View Café on 26 September 2019.
In front of 150 tourism operators and industry representatives, Pullman Bunker Bay Resort was announced finalist in both the prestigious 'Business Event Venues' and 'Luxury Accommodation' categories.
Presented by Tourism Council Western Australia, the Awards celebrate and recognise outstanding customer service, innovation and business excellence across the state’s tourism industry.
Pullman Bunker Bay Resort General Manager, Leighton Yates, said the resort’s finalist nods are testament to a team-wide commitment to creating ‘guest-obsessed’ luxury experiences in the Margaret River Region.
“For the resort to be recognised once again as a finalist is a fantastic achievement. Our team consistently drive our guest-centric culture - they are committed to ensuring Pullman Bunker Bay is the premier luxury resort in WA’s South West,” Mr Yates said.
“Our events team have done an amazing job in securing a number of large intrastate, interstate and international conferences over the past 12 months, which have seen more than 9,000 event delegates visit the Margaret River Region.”
“Ongoing recognition as a leading Business Events Venue has important ongoing benefits for our local community and economy,” concluded Yates.
Area General Manager of Operations for Accor Western Australia, Nathan Frost expressed his delight at the resort’s recognition at the Awards.

The announcement of the 2019 winners of the Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards will be on 9 November 2019.
